End of life Reiki for the sick and dying

How reiki works for those dying or sick

Reiki helps people and animals transition from their bodies with grace and ease. A healer’s work isn’t always about helping someone get better in the physical sense. Sometimes, a healer facilitates the death process.Returning to non-physical is the ultimate healing and part of the soul’s natural progression.

Reiki never interferes with an individual’s life or death choices. It just won’t work to wish someone dead while sending Reiki. Reiki never causes harm. You can send Reiki with the intention to support the dying process. And by no means does it mean the healing failed when  Reikiing someone with the intention that they recover and they die anyway.

Reiki always follows God’s will which operates beyond our human egos. Reiki supports divine timing in when someone leaves their physical bThere have been times I thought a person would die within minutes of sending Reiki and they have lived for months.    This gives them time to spend with friends and family. Other times, they pass quickly. When the most benevolent outcome is death of the physical body. Reiki helps those near the end of their life transition with less pain and more inner peace.

It will help create an environment of holiness, even in a hospital.  Reiki helps decrease the side effects of medication and decreases discomfort from medical procedures.

Since Reiki always heals, even if it does not cure the physical body, it can help a patient to heal spiritually and emotionally to ease the pathway of transition.

Every time I send Reiki to someone near the end of their life I see a lot of white light and sense the presence of their guardian angels, guides and loved ones from the other side. I work with Archangel Azrael  and Archangel  Raphael to help the dying feel comfort, love and peace as their time draws near.

Often, there is fear of letting go. Reiki helps with releasing attachment to this lifetime and open to spirit. Reiki helps the dying relax into the unknown surrounded by loving and caring energy.

I feel great happiness when the family member who requested the Reiki is with their loved one at the time of passing. This is such a profoundly sacred moment which usually leaves a lasting impact.

Often the dying choose to leave without the presence of their family members.  This happens because the loved ones have a hard time letting go.  So it’s just easier for everyone that way.

My testimonials of my experience

When my husband's grandmother was transitioning as a medium i was able to hear her while she was in between this realm and the next and she used me as a vessel to relay her messages as to what she wanted before fully crossing. She asked me to tell them how she didnt like that they allowed the doctors to cut her hair and expressed how much she loved her hair and refused to cross over until her head was covered, of course i relayed this message to my husband and his sister and since i wasnt close the grandmother didnt understand the meaning of her message. My sister in law said that she understood the message because her grandmother hated to go to beauty salon to have her hair cut or for anyone to touch her hair and if we suggested it she would throw a fit. That woman loved her hair. So my sister in law ran to gift shop to find something to cover head and when she did 5 minutes later she transitioned over.

I've done reiki on my pets especially one that was diagnosed with parvo the vet said he was supposed to die but couldnt understand why he was getting better spartacus is now 4 years old.  i had another pet that was badly injured fighting with another dog and i did reiki on her to help calm her fears and ease her pain and she healed up pretty quickly, another pet i had loved eating everything and she ate a bee i noticed that her neck was swollen and we gave her medicine that vet gave and i administered reiki she had healed faster then the time the vet had stated she would.

Reiki is not just for the dying

Reiki can be used for individuals post surgery. Every surgical procedure takes a toll on the body, whether it is a minor laparoscopic procedure or a major surgery. After the procedure is complete, it will take time for the individual to heal. Until healing is complete, the individual cannot return to his or her normal life. In order to speed the recovery, surgical patients often spend time resting, taking medication or participating in various types of therapy. Some people may also schedule Reiki sessions with the goal of encouraging the body to heal more quickly.

Research studies have shown that Reiki offers a number of different benefits, some of which may be beneficial to people who are recovering from a surgical procedure.

  1. Reiki may reduce anxiety before and after surgery.

Multiple research studies have explored the possibility of using Reiki to help patients who are preparing for or recovering from surgery. These studies have shown that people who participate in Reiki sessions before and after surgery are less likely to feel anxious than those who do not. Because anxiety may inhibit the healing process, it stands to reason that reducing anxiety through Reiki sessions may be beneficial to the healing process.

  1. Reiki may help prevent or reduce depression after surgery.

Depression is a common issue experienced by patients following surgery, especially if the surgery was complex or requires a long, painful recovery period. People who are struggling with depression are less likely to follow doctors’ orders and may therefore experience a more difficult, slower healing process. Failing to comply with a doctor’s instructions may also raise the risk of post-surgical complications. Studies have shown that Reiki may reduce depression and help people to feel more optimistic. Thus, people who participate in Reiki sessions after surgery may be less likely to feel depressed and more likely to be proactive in their recovery.

Reiki may reduce stress levels.

Stress causes inflammation to build up in the body, which may delay healing. Research shows that people who participate in Reiki sessions report feeling less stressed and more relaxed. People who have undergone a surgical procedure may be able to use Reiki to reduce their stress levels and encourage faster healing.

Reiki may improve the quality of sleep.

When the body is trying to heal from an injury, trauma or surgical procedure, good quality sleep is essential. Reiki produces feelings of relaxation for many clients, and people often report that they notice improved sleep quality after beginning Reiki therapy.

Reiki may reduce sensations of pain.

Pain is incredibly common after surgery. If the pain is severe, it may even slow the healing process by preventing the individual from participating in physical activity necessary to promote recovery. However, Reiki may reduce sensations of pain following surgery. In fact, one study showed that women who had undergone a hysterectomy experienced less pain during recovery if they participated in Reiki sessions before and after the procedure.

Is Reiki Safe after Surgery?

Reiki is completely noninvasive. During a Reiki session, the practitioner places his or her hands gently on the client in specific positions in order to encourage the proper flow of the client’s own ki or chi  energy. In some cases, the practitioner may not need to touch the client at all. Thus, Reiki should not pose any risk of complications or side effects for patients who have recently undergone surgery. In addition, it can be used in combination with any other type of therapy, rehabilitation or medication the individual may need to aid his or her recovery.

Scheduling as session

Reiki can be done both in person or distance meaning i will call you on the phone and can send energy healing anywhere around the world.

for those that request a phone session will feel subtle energies moving through out the body as  I am working on them.

Distance Reiki is a technique within the system of Reiki that enables you to give a Reiki session beyond the limitations of time and space. It expands the practitioner’s ability to transmit spiritual energy beyond physical touch.

In other words, it’s a way to offer Reiki without the recipient being in the same room with you.

Why do I prefer calling it Absentee Healing?

For me, I prefer this method because it helps strengthen my intuitive healing abilities, sharpens my medical intuitive skills and increase my connection through remote viewing.  Plus it gives me the chance to help anyone around the world so that I'm not just limiting myself to clients locally.
